Dr. Jed Keener grew up in Redmond, Oregon. He is a 2007 graduate of Redmond High School, where he played three varsity sports. He graduated from Gonzaga University in 2011 with a degree in Biology and a minor in History. After college, he worked as an engineer in the oil and gas industry in various parts of the United States. In 2013, he “retired” from the oil field and spent six months back in Central Oregon, where he was an assistant varsity basketball and football coach at Ridgeview High School. In 2014, he enrolled at Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Keener graduated from dental school in the spring of 2018 and moved back to Central Oregon to start practicing.
He is a member of the Oregon Dental Association, American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Keener continues to seek out education classes in order to provide his patients with the best of modern dental treatment and technologies. Dr. Keener is an integral part of the Redmond community as he carries on the traditions his father started by donating dental work to various organizations that provide services to families in need.
Dr. Keener met his lovely wife, Dr. Mary Kate Grady, while in dental school. They have a son named Jack, a daughter named Maeve, and a golden retriever named Marv. He is a die-hard Gonzaga Basketball, Seattle Mariners, and Portland Trailblazers fan. When he is not in the office, Dr. Keener enjoys playing golf, fly fishing, hiking, traveling, and most of all, spending time with family and friends.
