Dr. Jed Keener grew up in Redmond, Oregon. He is a 2007 graduate of Redmond High School where he played three varsity sports. He graduated from Gonzaga University in 2011 with a degree in Biology and a minor in History. After college, he worked as an engineer in the oil and gas industry in various parts of the United States. In 2013 he “retired” from the oil field and spent 6 months back in Central Oregon where he was an assistant varsity basketball and football coach at Ridgeview High School. In 2014, he enrolled at Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha Nebraska. Dr. Keener graduated from dental school in the spring of 2018 and moved back to Central Oregon to start practicing. He is a member of the Oregon Dental Association, American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Keener is excited to become an integral part of the Redmond community. He plans to coach multiple sports at the high school level, become a member of the Redmond rotary club and continue the traditions his father has started by donating dental work to various organizations that provide services to families in need. Dr. Keener met his lovely wife Dr. Mary Kate Grady while in dental school. They recently became proud owners of a golden retriever puppy named Marv and can’t wait to explore the Central Oregon outdoors. He is a die-hard Gonzaga Basketball, Seattle Mariners and Portland Trailblazers fan. When he is not in the office there is a good chance you can find him beating his dad on a local golf course or fly-fishing on the Deschutes River.
